Yule Log Jam

The Yule Log Jam is an obstacle, used as the fourth and final obstacle in the Qualifier of Season 4's Winter Wipeout, replacing both the Fling Set and the Shape Shifter from the previous season.

It is two shaking and bucking logs with a set of vertically rotating sweeper arms in the middle that contestants must cross and jump through to reach the finish platform.

Starting with the second episode, there are additions to the logs that make the obstacle harder, such as:

Season 4’s Yule Log Jam (with spanker bar on first log)

Season 4’s Yule Log Jam (with spanker bar on second log)

A spanker bar on the first or second log (episodes 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8)

A ring on a spanker bar on the second log (episodes 5 and 7)

Season 4’s Yule Log Jam (with walls and spanker bar)

Two short walls on the first log (episode 6)

Only two contestants cleared this obstacle:

Jacob Chrisman (S4E3; who later won that episode)
Chris Kasper (S4E5)

It was replaced by the Wipeout Kitchen when the season moved on to Spring Wipeout.
