Season 6's Wipeout City

Wipeout City is an obstacle, used as the third round in Season 6, replacing both the Petrified Forest and the Spin Psycho from the previous season. It was interchanged with both Wipeout's Greatest Hits and Sugar Smacks throughout the season.

First, all six contestants will make their way across the Bridge Over Troubled Water, two bridges that shake left and right, while dealing with costumed characters on a separate platform high above throwing and squirting various items and liquids at them based on the theme of the week. Then they’ll grab a rotating handle, swing on the Helicopters over the sweeper bars, and land on the Spinning Helipad before jumping off to the next platform. Finally, they’ll balance across the Water Main, shimmy across the Power Lines, and time their drop through the Manhole. The first three contestants to make it through move on to the Wipeout Zone.

Various themes include:

The Power Lines are notable for being one of the very few upper-body intensive obstacles in Wipeout that don't involve hanging on a zip-line or a rotating handle.

In episode 14, this was played before Sugar Smacks, and the first four complete blind date couples to make it through move on to the next round.

It was replaced by the Fun Slides Platform Spinning Purple People Beater in the next season.
