Season 6's Wipeout's Greatest Hits
Wipeout's Greatest Hits is an obstacle, used as the third round in Season 6, replacing both the Petrified Forest and the Spin Psycho from the previous season. It was interchanged with both Wipeout City and Sugar Smacks throughout the season.
First, all six contestants will start together on a spinning drum. Then at the sound of the horn, they’ll make their way across the drums and ride the drumsticks around to the landing platform. Then they’ll make their way across the keyboards to the other side. In some episodes, the keyboards had fingers on them. Finally, they’ll jump through the swinging guitar to the finish platform, which has a rumble bridge attached to it. The first three contestants to make it through move on to the Wipeout Zone.
The various themes include:
- Heavy Metal (Welcome Back, Jill)
- 50s Rock (Wipeout Family Values)
- Groovy 60s (Newlyweds: Love and Other Wipeouts)
- Punk Rock (Big Balls of the Caribbean)
- Country Rock (As Seen On TV)
- Disco (How Jill Got Her Groove Back)
- Rave (Hotties vs. Nerds 3.0)
- Grunge (It's a Dirty Job But Someone's Gotta Wipeout)
It was replaced by the Fun Slides Platform Spinning Purple People Beater in Season 7.
