Trampoline sweepers

Season 3's Trampoline Sweeper

The Trampoline Sweeper is an obstacle, used as the fourth obstacle in the Qualifier of Season 3, replacing both the Log Roll and the Hurtles from the previous season. It was interchanged with the Shake-a-lator, the Organ Grinder, and the Beaten Path throughout the season.

Contestants must bounce across four trampolines without being knocked into the water by two sweeper arms rotating in opposite directions. A lot of people couldn't even make it past the first sweeper arm, and even if they did, almost no one could make the final jump to the platform. In some episodes, both sweeper arms were rotating towards the contestants.

It had a few variations:

Biker Bar (Season 3)

Season 3’s Trampoline Sweeper (Biker Bar)

  • In episode 5, it was turned into the Biker Bar now with added ribbons and mini motorcycles onto the ends of the sweeper arms.
Trampoline Sweeper (with foam)

Season 3’s Trampoline Sweeper (with foam)

  • In episode 10, there was foam falling from above.
  • In episode 12, the second sweeper arm featured four ends instead of two.
Beauty Bar

Season 3’s Trampoline Sweeper (Beauty Bar)

  • In episode 15, it was turned into the Beauty Bar now with paint and extra foam.

Only three contestants cleared this obstacle:

It was replaced by the Snow Plow Sweeper in the next season.
