Season 2’s Torrential Turntables
The Torrential Turntables are a variation of the Turntables, used as the fifth and final obstacle in the Wipeout Zone during episode 5 of Season 2, replacing the Launch Pads from the previous season.
It is three turntables being showered by icy cold water that contestants must cross and stand up with both feet planted on the last one to stop the clock.
The only contestant who cleared this obstacle on their first attempt is Caroline Erickson.
A similar obstacle in both name and function named the Torrential Twisters later appeared as the third obstacle in the Summer Wipeout Zone of Season 5, being interchanged with Spinergy.
