Season 2’s Sweeper Run (episode 12)
The Sweeper Run is an obstacle, used as the first obstacle in the Qualifier during episodes 4 and 12 of Season 2.
It is three sweeper arms rotating over two narrow beams. Contestants must run across the beams to the other side while the sweeper arms attempt to knock them off.
This is similar to the Sweeper Trees (which were used as the first obstacle in the Qualifier during episode 9 of the same season), except it has more sweepers mounted on top.
In episode 12, the first sweeper arm was made thicker.
Only four contestants cleared this obstacle with three of them from the same episode:
- Scotty Granger (S2E4)
- Eva Sadok (S2E12)
- Dave Klec (S2E12)
- Brett Salazar (S2E12)
Coincidentally, two of them later went on to win their respective episodes.
