The Springshot is a mechanical spring where contestants will have to lie down on their stomachs. Then the lid closes, and on the last second of the countdown, it speeds up the track, and when it reaches the end, it shoots them out through the air into the water below. On the first episode of Spring Wipeout, also when it also premiered, it was filled with colored balls. It was used for the first four episodes of Spring Wipeout before it was replaced by another launch obstacle in the next three episodes, Chairborne.
