Springshot

The Springshot is an obstacle, used as the first obstacle in the Spring Wipeout Zone of Season 4, renaming the Bobsled Blastoff from Winter as its modification.

It is a mechanical spring where contestants lie down on their stomachs. Then the lid closes, and on the last second of the countdown, the spring speeds up the track, and when it reaches the end, it shoots them out through the air into the water below.

Season 4’s Springshot (with colored balls)

In episode 1, colored balls were launched with the contestants.

For the rest of Spring Wipeout, it was replaced by Chairborne (which was later used in Summer Wipeout, being interchanged with the Towering Flume of Doom for the rest of the season).
