Season 2's Rocket
The Rocket is an obstacle, used as the third round during episodes 3 and 6 of Season 2, replacing the Dreadmill from the previous season. It was interchanged with both the Dizzy Dummy 2.0 and the Slippery Course throughout the season.
Each of the six contestants must stay on the flying rocket ship for as long as possible. It’s 15 feet in the air and at the end of a rotating arm and has lots of turbulence. They also have to avoid being knocked off by one of the planets in the Wipeout Galaxy. As time goes on, the rocket ship will move faster and faster. The longest four times move on to the Wipeout Zone.
- Variations:

Season 2’s Rocket (with meteor showers)
- In episode 3, there were meteor showers.

Season 2’s Rocket (with Astronaut Major John Henson)
- In episode 6, contestants had to deal with Astronaut Major John Henson spraying rocket fuel at them.
Later, a similar obstacle named the Bucking Bull appeared as the third round during episodes 9 and 11 of the same season.
Both of these obstacles were replaced by the Circular Challenge, Bruiseball, and the Spinner in Season 3.
