The Pole Vault was an obstacle in Season 1, Episode 3. The contestants had to use a pole to vault themselves onto a Big Ball floating on the water below. Only one person completed this obstacle without wiping out.
The Pole Vault's most famous moment was definitely Ariel Tweto saying "WHERE'S THE POLE?" and then jumping past it into the water. She could not see the 30-foot pole directly in front of her. As revealed after her run, she thought the pole was yellow.
