Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest is an obstacle, used as the third round in Summer Wipeout of Season 5, replacing the Cold Hearted Snake from Winter. It was interchanged with the Spin Psycho for the rest of the season.

First, all six contestants will use the Zip-lines to swing down to the forest floor. If they take too long on this obstacle, the platform will slide a bit closer to the edge of the track. Then they'll hop a branch for a ride through the One Tree Forest while avoiding the Sweeper Logs. Then it’s a leap into the Tippy Trap, where two people at the lookout tower would throw various items at them, and a final jump out to the finish platform. The first three contestants to make it through move on to the Wipeout Zone.

In episode 15, this was played after the Spin Psycho as the fourth round in two rounds, and the first complete blind date couple through in each round moves on to the Wipeout Zone.

Along with the Spin Psycho, it was replaced by Wipeout's Greatest Hits, Wipeout City, and Sugar Smacks in the next season.
