Season 1’s Killer Surf (pilot episode)

Killer Surf is an obstacle, used as the first obstacle in the Wipeout Zone of Season 1.

It's a 45° water ramp contestants slide down on an inner tube, a sled, an air mattress, or their backs and into the water below.

Variations:

Season 1’s Killer Surf (with foam)

In episode 2, the ramp was covered in foam.

Season 1’s Killer Surf (with scorching flames)

In episode 3, the ramp had scorching flames.

Season 1’s Killer Surf (with fire)

In episode 4, the ramp was surrounded by fire.

Season 1’s Killer Surf (with fog and colored balls)

In episode 8, the ramp was shrouded in fog and had colored balls at the bottom.

It was replaced by both the Aqua Launch and the Catapult in the next season.

Season 2’s Killer Surf (Australia Special)

Killer Surf also appeared as the first obstacle in the Wipeout Zone during the Australia Special of Season 2.

This time, contestants were given a lie lo to slide down the ramp on and into the water below.
