The Fling Set is an obstacle, used as the fifth and final obstacle in the Qualifier of Season 3, replacing both the Fender Bender and the Swing Set from the previous season. It was interchanged with the Shape Shifter throughout the season.
It is two U-shaped sweeper swings that contestants must run past without being knocked off the walkway into the water to reach the finish platform.

Season 3’s Trouble U’s
It was replaced by the Yule Log Jam in Season 4's Winter Wipeout.
It was later combined with the Blades of Fury (which was used as the second obstacle in the Gauntlet and the fifth obstacle overall in the Wipeout Zone during episodes 6 and 16 of Season 2, being paired with the Piston Punch and the Drop Bridge and interchanged with the Turntable, and all of the same season, being paired with the Crankshaft and the Beater Totter) to create the Swing Blades (which was used as the second obstacle in the Summer Wipeout Zone of Season 5, being interchanged with Commakaze).
