Crazy Sweeper

Season 2’s Crazy Sweeper

The Crazy Sweeper is an obstacle, used as the fourth obstacle in the Wipeout Zone of Season 2, replacing the Spinner from the previous season. It was interchanged with the Scary-Go-Round throughout the season, with the Climbing Wall made as an intermediary obstacle between this obstacle and the Raging Rapids.

It is a zigzag beam followed by six pedestals. Contestants must run down the zigzag beam and across the pedestals to the other side while being chased by two sweeper arms featuring large cubes and cylinders on them.

This obstacle had a few variations:

Season 2's Crazy Sweeper (with footballs and pon-poms)

• In Wipeout Bowl I: Cheerleaders vs. Couch Potatoes, the sweeper arms featured footballs and pon-poms on them.

Season 2’s Crazy Sweeper (with six hanging demolition balls)

• In episode 4, there were six hanging demolition balls.

Season 2’s Crazy Sweeper (with two distracting curtains of noodles)

• In episode 8, there were two distracting curtains of noodles.

Season 2’s Crazy Sweeper (with six brutal punching bags)

• In episode 12, there were six brutal punching bags.

It was replaced by both the Triple Threat and the Sinistairs in the next season.
