Cold Hearted Snake

Season 5's Cold Hearted Snake

The Cold Hearted Snake is an obstacle, used as the third round in Winter Wipeout of Season 5, replacing Winter Blunder Land, the Sweeper, the Wipeout Play Set, and the Wipeout 500/Detour from the previous season.

First, all six contestants must cross the Snow Sweepers, two sets of sweeper arms rotating counterclockwise. The first sweeper has block platforms and is placed underneath the second sweeper. For some reason, there is a nonfunctional rumble bridge as the landing platform. Then they have to climb up and slide down Plummet Summit, a giant rotating conical slide towering 25 feet above the water, and over the snake's back. Finally, they must cross the Shivering Timbers, two rotating wooden planks, jump to the Snowball, a white ball that rises up, and make one final jump to the finish platform. The first three contestants to make it through move on to the Winter Wipeout Zone.

It was replaced by both the Spin Psycho and the Petrified Forest when the season moved on to Summer Wipeout.
