Season 6’s Bounder Pounder
The Bounder Pounder is an obstacle, used as the fourth and final obstacle in the Wipeout Zone of Season 6, replacing both the Tectonic Planks and the 3 C’s of Wipeout from Summer Wipeout of the previous season. It was interchanged with Twisted Falls throughout the season.
It is two sets of three rotating trampolines that contestants must bounce their way across to reach the finish platform. The entire obstacle descends down to give them ample height for each jump with a platform placed in the middle.
Only four contestants cleared this obstacle on their first attempt:
Coincidentally, the former two later won their respective episodes.
It was replaced by the Gears of Fear in the next season.
