Axle of Evil

The Axle of Evil is an obstacle, used as the third obstacle in the Summer Wipeout Zone of Season 4. It was interchanged with Point Break from Spring for the rest of the season.

It is a three-pronged axle twisting at the end of a rotating arm. Contestants must use each prong to support themselves as they ride the axle around to the other side.

Only nine contestants cleared this obstacle on their first attempt:

Coincidentally, seven of them later won their respective episodes.

It was replaced by Frozen Fury in the next season.
