Sweeper trees
 
This was a variant of the sweeper trees that were in patriotic colors. It has single-decked arms and a crooked beam. Contestents needed to bolt across this beam while trying not to be whapped by the sweepers...both in front and in back sometimes, resulting in spectacular wipeouts.
